Nya's BIRTH-Day

Every year I try to do something special on the kid's actual birthday. I always do the party at some point and then when the real "day"comes along I try to something to acknowledge that day. I must get this birthday extravaganza mentality from my mom. She always made a big deal about our birthdays when I was little. We would skip school and go to "Showbiz Pizza" or ride go-karts or something like that. I like to make a big deal so that they feel extra special on "their day".  These are some pictures from Nya's birthday. I let her skip school and we jam packed the day with fun! I did not have her sisters until later in the day so we got to do everything by ourselves.

Bowling!

The bowling alley put up special birthday messages on the tv screen when it was her turn.

At the park

Crazy soda concoction.

Lilly and Nya-BFF

Dorks!

First, she got Dunkin Donuts for breakfast, then we went bowling, then we went to a special play ground, then she got to go to Firehouse Subs and make her own custom soda, then she got Chik-Fila for lunch (her fav), then we went to an indoor trampoline park with her BF Lilly and we finished with a hibachi dinner with her other BF Tyler.

Jump roper

This might be my favorite video of all time. Leila was so sure that she had perfected her jump roping skills! I laugh every time that I watch this. I wish she could always stay this small and innocent.

Halloween 2011

Work it Lilly!

"Look Mama!!!"

Oh my god, could she get any cuter!

Laughing at her new treat...so funny.

Pocohontas Iyla

Wow...what a great Halloween! My kids all had so much fun! I had to document Leila a lot since this was her first "official halloween" where she could participate fully! She was so, so into it! I Hope my kids realize what an awesome life they have...

Sebastian was dared to lick Nya!

We had a blast on our annual camping trip this year. There was a lot of stress and it was a ton of work but it was totally worth it! The kids made memories to last a life time.

Oh Leila...

She is so fun these days...when she is not being a total terror!

What we have been up to

This was when Iyla got into the Nutella.

Her masterpiece with nutella on the tv.

The clean up

Decorating pumpkin cookies on a rainy Sunday

This was the first day she finally started feeling better. I had to document her joy because it had been awhile since she was so happy and back to her normal chipper self.

Decades day at school-60's hippie

Well, Leila was sick for awhile with an ear infection that we could not clear. She is finally feeling better, phew! Fall is setting in and we have been getting ready for the holidays. We have Nya's birthday party, Halloween, Nya's actual birthday, then Thanksgiving, my birthday and then of course CHRISTMAS!
