By far, hands down...my favorite day of the year!!! I could hardly sleep thinking about all the great gifts they kids were getting. I just sat back and snapped pictures and drank my coffee as they opened and examined all their awesome gifts. We are so lucky!

We had Christmas eve with my mom. My mom went above and beyond (as usual) and got the girls so many wonderful presents. We then had Christmas eve dinner with the Rose family and they were very generous. They got the girls a ton of arts and crafts supplies to share. Such a great gift idea! Thanks everyone...

We have been trying to do a lot of fun Christmas activities to make the winter break more memorable. The other day my friend, Alycia, and I took them to "Santa's Christmas Tree Forest" out in Eustis. Last night we took them to Celebration to see the "snow" and to go ice skating.

Slumber party

We had 5 girls in this house last night. Nya had her best friend spend the night and Iyla had her best friend spend the night. Both of their best friends are named "Lilly" so all day and night Iyla was like "where is my Lilly?, What is my Lilly doing?"

Right now it is 6:50 am. I have already watched the girls do an "elf scavenger hunt" that our silly little elf sent them on all over the house. They were throughly amused by that. They have also played the xbox kinect, had a dance party, had a dance contest with prizes, had hot cocoa, ate breakfast and had a fashion show. did I mention that it is only 6:50 am? Holy crap, I need a coffee iv.

ELF.

We have one crazy little elf...

For those of you who do not know the tradition. This is our "Elf on the Shelf". His name is Geoffrey. He comes on December 1st every year (since 2009) and leaves on Christmas Eve. He is here to watch over the kids. Every night (after we are all asleep) he "zooms" back to the north pole to give Santa a report of the kids behavior that day. When he gets back, he hides in a new spot. This year, Geoffrey has gotten very creative with his hiding skills.
