Sea World Spooktacular!

We went to Sea World Spooktacular again this year.

Past Halloweens

I was looking through pictures from our past Halloweens. I have Nya's first Halloween pictures saved to a disc but I found some other ones from different Halloweens.

Coloring

Nya and Iylah coloring in the fairy tent! I thought this was so cute and child like...

Nya's surgery

Well, Nya's surgery was a huge success! She got her ear tubes put in and adenoids taken out. I was very nervous about the whole thing but she was so brave. She did not seem to have any anxiety about the surgery at all. The nurses were all very nice and attentive so that helped to keep her very calm. They wheeled her off in her little bed at 10:31 am and she was back from surgery and recovery by 11:12 am. She did great...I am glad it is finally over.

Camping cont...

Camping...

We had such a great time camping this weekend. It was super hot when we arrived on Friday and freezing (43 degrees) when we left on Sunday. We still had so much fun! We went to the beach, did some hiking, had lots of cook outs and all the kids got along...phew!!!

Iylah has her own "isms"!!!

Iylah has become quite the little ham these days. She is saying things like crazy...today she pointed to my feet and said, "Peet, peet." Then she made a biting sound because I always try to bite her feet while I change her so she will stay still.

She also says "Poop" whenever she sees a diaper.

The funniest thing was when she kept going into the laundry room and pointing to the dryer saying "joos, joos" (which means juice). I was wondering how on earth she could be so confused by called the dryer her juice because it clearly looks nothing like a sippy cup. About 20 minutes later when I was getting clothes from the dryer I felt and odd thing mixed into the laundry. IT WAS HER JUICE CUP!!! She must have thrown it in there while she watched me put the wet clothes in there and she kept trying to tell me, that is what I get for underestimating her!

Latest Nya-isms!

While watching a commercial on tv for some handheld gaming thing (gameboy, DS, leapster or something similar).
Nya: "Mommy, I want that thing because mine is always running out of battery when I play with it."
Mommy: "Well, that one will run out too if we don't change battery when we need to."
Nya "No it won't Mommy because they just said...batteries NOT included! Didn't you hear them?"

While talking to Tyler in the car on the way to our house to play yesterday. (By the way, Tyler is the little boy who I think is the cutest kid ever and I always joke about making him be my son).
Nya: "Hey Tyler, when we get to my house you can go pick out which room you want to live in when you become my real brother."
Tyler: "Ok, I already know that I want to live in the room with all the toys."
Nya: "You can't live in that room because that is the playroom and we all get to use that room to play in. You will learn that when you come to live with us forever."
Tyler: "Okay."

When dropping Nya back at school after the field trip on Friday.
Mommy: "Come here and give me a kiss and a hug."
Nya: "Why?"
Mommy: "Because I am leaving and I won't see you until after school today."
Nya: "Mommy, that is not that long from right now. I am only giving you a hug because you are so whiney sometimes!"

World's funniest kid!!!

The Fire Station!

Nya went on her very first class field trip to the fire station. Of course, I had to chaperone and drive her and her friends in my car. They met with the fire men and learned all about where they sleep and what to do if you ever see a fire man in your house. They got to spray the hose and sit in the truck. They also got to see all the different tools and hoses that they keep on the truck. They kept asking questions like, "Who shares a room with their brothers or sister?" and "Who has a ladder in their room incase you need to use it to get out of the window during a fire?". Nya raised her hand for both of those questions which was not true either time. Nya had fun and here are the pictures to prove it.

Charlotte's Web!

We took the big kids to see Charlotte's Web at the Orlando Rep this weekend. We also went out for lunch at The Olive Garden beforehand, ummm. It was me, Nya, Yelena, Tyler, Erika and Daven. It was so nice to be able to enjoy our big kids without feeling consumed with the babies. You just get so used to have them with you all the time that when you actually do something without them it is quite refreshing. That sounds bad, of course we love having the little ones with us but everything is so much easier with just the big kids in tow. Anyways, they had a great time and so did we. The last picture of Nya and Tyler making silly faces was because they were eating sour candy from the concession stand. So cute!
