Spring Fling

Nya Bliss had her annual spring fling at school this Friday. She basically just ran around with all her little girlfriends and I think I saw her a total of 5 times over a 2 hours time span. Check out the face painting pictures, she is such a little ham!

The Polynesian!

So we took the kids to the Polynesian today. We had such a great day! My friends Jen (Mona), Alycia (Lilly), and Suzie (Sebastian and Owen) came with us. The kids played in the sand, the pool, the water slides, the splash area and even the hammocks! They seriously have the best life ever!

more Nya-isms

Nya: "Mommy, I have to go poop in your bathroom."
Mommy: "Ok-why in my bathroom?"
Nya: "Because I'm gonna scream and I don't want to bother Iylah's nap."
Mommy: "Why are you going to scream, I thought you had to go potty?'
Nya: "I do, but like pooping and screaming. 4 year-old girls like to scream and poop at the same time."

(Seriously, I could NOT make this stuff up. Are you kidding me???)

Nya (while looking at my nose ring): "Mommy, how dumb was the lady that put that earring in your nose?"
Mommy: "What do you mean, she was not dumb?"
Nya: "Well, she is dumb. Because she did not know where the ears are and that is where you put those kinds of things."

Mommy: "Nya, are you hungry?'
Nya: "No, why do I look hungry?"
Mommy: "Not really, but it is lunch time and I thought you might want something to eat."
Nya: "When I'm hungry, my tummy comes out and sits at the table and eats all the food in the house. Do you see my tummy at the table?"

More my style!

OK-so I have been getting some grief about how "fancy" the girls have been in their pictures lately. Here are some pictures in outfits that are way more my style. How cute are they right now! P.S. my mom actually bought these bohemian outfits for them.

We had to take some easter pictures in these dresses, too. I especially like the ones where Iylah is eating the grass and Nya is laughing at her and then Nya takes the grass away and throws it and Iylah looks SO mad! Pretty cute right! Thank you for the easter dress Aunt Stephanie!

Nya hunting for eggs! Please take note of the muscles on Nya? I'm killing myself in the gym everyday to get those arms and she just has them without even trying!

Dog video

First word???

So we think Iylah's first word is going to be DOG. She gets sooo excited whenever she sees a dog and she just keeps saying "D-D-D-dog!" She actually calls anything that moves a dog, whether it is a bunny, a bear, a fish, a mouse or a cat. That might be a hard one to correct later, mmmm? Nya has an electric Polar bear and Iylah is just fascinated with it, and of course, she calls it a DOG! Watch the video and you will see.

1st pop

Iylah enjoyed her first popsicle. Shhh, nobody tell Nya that she did not have a popsicle until she was nearly 2!

Birthday fun

So of course I forgot my good camera at home. I only had my iphone to take pictures so they are a little gritty. This was Nya and Iylah at the park for our friend Aaliyah's 4th birthday party!
