As you all know, I have some really great friends! Well, my wonderful friend Suzie has organized a meal delivery service for the kids and I. I really appreciate it and I do not know how I ended up with such generous friends. I will try and take photos of the meals and post them so you all can see. Thank you again Suz, you are THE BEST!!!

LEILA SKY DAVY HAS ARRIVED!
Baby Leila is working her way into our crazy family. I have a feeling she is going to be a great baby. She is already proving to be a great eater, so hopefully we keep that going. The delivery was a little crazy with the whole c-section and everything. I am fortunate to have a lot of friends and family helping me out right now so that is really wonderful. I could not have survived my first 48 hours with Leila if it were not for Erika Froling. She was really awesome during everything and I would have been so lost without her there with me. She is also responsible for taking all of the great pictures of Leila's first moments. Erika Dold was awesome while we waited for the final outcome of the delivery. I appreciate all their love and support during this. My mom and Jan saved the day (well a lot of the days) by keeping Nya and Iyla happy and safe for me. Nya never wanted to come home again. I stayed with my mom and Jan after I got out of the hospital because going all the way home seemed a bit too daunting on my first day out of the hospital. I am so lucky to have such a great family and group of friends to help me during all of this. I know these days will go by quickly but right now they seems really long and endless. I am happy to have my 3 healthy girls and I am going to try and relax and not stress out during these next few months.

BIG day
I cannot believe that my little Leila Sky will be here tomorrow. This new song says a lot about how I am feeling about her arrival. My favorite line is..."most kind of stories, save the best part for last". This baby will complete our family and I could not be happier about it! Pictures to come....

Tonsil news
So, the latest news with Nya's ever growing tonsil is that it formed a peritonsillar abscess on it. I dare you to do a google image search of that term and you will be throughly grossed out. I guess all the irritation caused the abscess and that started to cause her A LOT of pain. I also read that the EBV (epstein-barr virus or MONO) can cause this too. Well, we determined with all the tests last week that she has had mono sometime in the last 45 days so maybe this is a side effect from that whole thing. We went to the after hours children's clinic and they ruled out strep throat right away with a strep test. She is on antibiotics to cure and heal the abscess and I have her on Motrin every 6 hours to control the pain. We are going to lay low tomorrow since it will be the last day we are a family 4. Baby Leila is due to arrive on Tuesday morning, let the madness begin!

And...
Worst day ever...ALMOST!
So, I am going to give a brief synopsis of this horrible day. It all began last night at 8 pm when I was brushing Nya's teeth (just like every other night). I noticed that one of her tonsils was HUGE! She has always had large tonsils but this one looked different, it looked more defined and circular. They normally just look swollen and red when she had an ear infection or something. I freaked out and then confirmed my worst fears by going on the computer. I read something that said "in rare cases, an enlarged tonsil can be a sign of lymphoma". Well, that was all I needed to cause complete hysteria. I started thinking that maybe all these months when she has told me that she had a stomach ache that maybe it was really something more than "gas pain" or eating too much candy. I thought that when she told me that her legs were sore that maybe it was not just growing pains or a bump from the playground. I started freaking out completely. I would read a new symptom of lymphoma and then go upstairs, while she slept, and check her for that symptom. Such as other swollen glands (like I even knew what those looked or felt like) or "night sweats" (which she did NOT have on any of the 3 occasions last night when I checked her). The other signs were loss of appetite (she would eat 12 meals a day if I would let her), fatigue (yea right, she is like an energizer bunny), weakness (not at all), weight loss (HA, she out weighs her classmate by 10+ lbs) and unexplained bruising (she has none and I check every night when I lotion her up after the bath). She did have 2 of the other odd symptoms though, "skin itchiness" and "inconsistent stomach pain". Well, needless to say, she was at the pediatrician at 9:30 am this morning for a full look over. I was hoping that the ped would look at me like a nut and tell me she was fine and that I had nothing to worry about. INSTEAD, he found 4 other swollen glands in her neck. At that point, I was in total shock. Someone could have stabbed me in the hand and I would not have felt it. He then told us that we should go to Arnold Palmer for blood work. I left the office, in a daze, and dropped Nya off at school so that I could be hysterical in my car before I took her to get her blood drawn. I composed myself long enough to go into Target and buy her a nerf gun, special yo-yo, gummi fish, a care bears movie and a strawberry shortcake puzzle. I put it all in a purple gift bag with tissue paper and was going to give it to her after she did a good job getting her "blood shot". My mom, thankfully, left work early so that she could keep Iyla while I took Nya to AP. She was super brave and I just distracted her and hoped that we would get perfect results. I called the ped and left 2 messages to tell him to please call me when the results came in. I was sure I would not hear from him until tomorrow. Well, much to my surprise, he called tonight around 5 pm to tell me that everything was PERFECT!!! He said that maybe she had fought off something already and the lymphnodes are still just swollen from that. All the other tests were clear but most importantly LYMPHOMA was not a possibility at all. He said it could have been something as minor as a scratch that we never even saw. He said that all of the results were within the "normal range" and there is NOTHING (especially cancer) to worry about. I felt like I could take my first real breath of the day. Oh my god, what a relief. It has put a lot into perspective for me. Now, when she asks to play that extra round of Go FIsh or a couple more minutes of "dollhouse" that I can do it and be grateful that I have a happy, healthy child that actually wants to play with me still. This was a horrible, horrible day, with a WONDERFUL ENDING! Thanks mom for helping me with Iyla and for having us over for dinner. It was a nice distraction from the obvious. PHEW, off to do a puzzle with my peanut!

The count is on...
Ok, so...the final count is on. February is baby month. I would like to stay pregnant as long as possible because this move is going to throw me for a loop. All bets are on...I am guessing mid Feb, maybe the 12th or so. I would like to go until my due date but that is very unlikely. I have recruited lots of family and friends to help with the move but either way, this will be nuts! Wish me luck...

Sea World and THE HOUSE
I took the girls to Sea World today with a bunch of our friends. I am trying to be out and about as much as possible these days so that maybe I won't feel as stir crazy when baby LEILA SKY arrives. BTW - that date is inching closer and closer and I am a bit FREAKED OUT!!! I am so glad that I have so many good friends right now they are willing to help me when she does decide to come. Thanks in advance to Erika Dold, Yelena, Erika Froling, Suzie and mom. Oh and, when we went to Sea World we got a behind the scenes tour from Erika's husband (in bragging tone..."the head vet at sea world"). So the picture of the dolphin was super up close and personal. The picture of the house was taken last week, it will be done next month.
