1st pop

Iylah enjoyed her first popsicle. Shhh, nobody tell Nya that she did not have a popsicle until she was nearly 2!

Birthday fun

So of course I forgot my good camera at home. I only had my iphone to take pictures so they are a little gritty. This was Nya and Iylah at the park for our friend Aaliyah's 4th birthday party!

PS...please take note of the extreme posing that is going on with the kids on the hill (Jayden is throwing up a peace sign back there by the tree!)

How cute

Whoever thought I would dress my kids so classic! I mean searsucker, what is wrong with me! But really, doesn't she look so perfect???

Happiest baby

Iylah was just so happy watching Nya's class do the easter egg hunt today!

Easter EGG hunt!

Nya had her school easter egg hunt so of course I had to be the only dorky mom out there snapping pictures of them. I like the picture of Nya making that crazy surprised face, that is when she first saw all the eggs that the "easter bunny" had hidden!

Random pictures

The one of Nya swimming is in Stacy's pool. The one of Nya in the super woman outfit is her and Lilly doing Karoke. The one of Iylah in the jumper is also at Stacy's house (Jax's jumper). The 1 of Iylah in the stroller is funny because she is eating a naked barbie!

Nya's first dentist appointment

So Nya went to the dentist for the first time today. I know she should have went sooner but we just kept putting it off. I am happy to report that she has NO cavities!

More beach trip

I forgot to post these pictures from our beach trip. This is when we went to the marine science center and the kids saw a giant conch shell.

Iylah at Aquatica

This is how Iylah enjoys aquatica.

Jackson

Seriously-how cute is Jackson? Soon Jackson is going to have 2 cute little twin brothers!

The Babies

So Iylah had a play date with her buddies, Jackson and Cayden, again today. She is so lucky to have such fun cute little friends. I was telling Stacy (Jackson's mommy) that Nya did not really have this when she was a baby. I did not know anyone who had babies and we did not join a play group until Nya was already like 18 months old. This is probably the one and only advantage that Iylah will have that Nya did not also have first.

D-D-dog!

So Iylah loves our dog, Oliver. The only problem is he is way too hyper and way too big for her to play with him up close. This is how she interacts with Oliver-through the glass door!

Nya-isms

I just wanted to share 3 hilarious comments made by the one and only NYA BLISS!

Nya: "Mommy, how come zucchini bread is so good for me but zucchini swim suits are so not good for me?"
Mommy: "What are you talking about Nya?"
Nya: "You know, the kind of swim suits that show bellies, those are bad for me, right?"
Mommy: "Ooohh, you mean BIKINIS!"

Nya: "Mommy, my friend Daven thinks that I do not a lot of things about Florida."
Mommy: "Why does she think that?"
Nya: "I don't know but I told her that I rock this place!"

Nya (while playing with Iylah): "Mommy, do you think she knows how nice I am?"
Mommy: "Yeah, I think she is going to want to be just like you when she gets bigger."
Nya: "Well...Mommy, it is a little bit hard for babies to be this nice and this really awesome as me!"

Easy breezy!

Okay-I know that Iylah does not get a lot of credit since she is always living in Nya's shadow but...SHE IS THE EASIEST BABY EVER! She just goes with the flow, never fusses, sleeps when she gets tired, eats when I offer her food, laughs whenever anyone says anything to her and makes having a baby soooo much fun. She is such a good, good baby.

Another beach trip

Nya, Iylah and me went to the beach again today. We met a bunch of our friends out there. We rode out with our buddy Erika and her 2 kids Daven and Broden (so cute). Nya and Daven are partners in crime. Please take note of their faces as they are strolling back from the water. They look like some sort of Preschool Mafia. The other pictures are of the kids being surprised by the tide rolling in on them. Pretty funny!
