Sea World and THE HOUSE

I took the girls to Sea World today with a bunch of our friends. I am trying to be out and about as much as possible these days so that maybe I won't feel as stir crazy when baby LEILA SKY arrives. BTW - that date is inching closer and closer and I am a bit FREAKED OUT!!! I am so glad that I have so many good friends right now they are willing to help me when she does decide to come. Thanks in advance to Erika Dold, Yelena, Erika Froling, Suzie and mom. Oh and, when we went to Sea World we got a behind the scenes tour from Erika's husband (in bragging tone..."the head vet at sea world"). So the picture of the dolphin was super up close and personal. The picture of the house was taken last week, it will be done next month.

WHOA!!!!!!

I just tallied the diaper and wipes stash and I have 2,066 diapers and 4,999 wipes. This means I will have enough diapers for 344 days or 49 weeks (FYI that is nearly a year) and enough wipes for 833 days or 119 weeks (that is over 2 years)!!! This is so exciting and major motivation for potty training Iyla so I can really use all these diapers for Leila. My friends are the BEST!!! I am going to target right now and I will NOT be buying diapers OR wipes AT ALL!!!

My SHOWER!!!

So today my awesome friends threw me the best diapers/wipes baby shower EVER. We all had the best time and I realized that I could NOT ever do this without them. I LOVE my friends, seriously. Suzie and Stacy got together and planned the most organized, beautiful, fun and relaxing baby shower. There was great food and drinks, beautiful flowers, fun balloons, yummy cake, amazing friends and even a personal massage therapist there to massage all the ladies after lunch. It was so nice to see all my friends in one place to celebrate and acknowledge this huge event in my life. Thank you Suzie and Stacy for all your effort, planning, coordinating, cooking, cleaning, funding, etc...You guys are the best. And thanks to Erika Froling for helping me get organized, loading up my gifts and taking so many great, great pictures. Thank you Yelena and Erika Dold for your set-up/cleaning help and for getting a massage therapist with Suzie. Thank you Erin, for helping Stacy and thank you Mom for the food and mimosas. This was a very fun and memorable day and I am so grateful to have these generous friends in my life.

These days

Well, the past few weeks have been quite uneventful. There is a lot of things to get done before the baby comes but the move is really putting a damper on things. These are just a few random pictures and videos that I have taken lately. Iyla had taken a liking to the new baby bassinet so we had to put that away since it is borrowed goods.

The House

These are the most recent pictures of our new house. They are really coming along quickly. There is 1 random picture of Iyla behind the couch. I could not find her one day and this is where she was, tricky girl...

Funny girls!

Here are some recent videos of the girls being silly. One is of them playing together in the bath (so cute), the other is of Iyla in her new squeaky shoes (which she thinks are super hilarious) and the other is of the girls laughing at the Evian Roller babies commercial on YouTube. I always play that video for Iyla when she is having a tantrum and she calms right down and starts laughing.

OKay, so I have the baby name figured out. I know that nobody sympathizes with my number obsession but I just could not ignore it. All I had to do was remove the 'H" from Iylah which is what I have been wanting to do anyways. If you do not like the name...zip it!!! Here we go...

Nya (3) Bliss (5) = 8 Born on the 1st (3 years 8 months older than Iyla)
Iyla (4) Jade (4) = 8 Born on the 1st (1 year and 8 months older than Leila)
Leila (5) Sky (3) = 8 Needs to be born on March 1st (yea right) to meet the trend...we can hope!

Also, all names end in an "A", just an added bonus!

Now I can focus on the move 100% and changing addresses and all the other tedious tasks that are involved in moving!
